Meet the Teacher
My name is Jennifer Rogers. I am in my 19th year of teaching English in the Scott County School District. I have been at Morton High School since 2012. I graduated from East Central Community College and Mississippi State University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Marketing. I worked for three years and then realized my true calling to be a teacher. Then, I received my teaching license through the Mississippi Alternate Route Program through Hinds Community College. Since teaching, I have attended Arkansas State University to receive my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and my Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. I am married to Justin Rogers, Biology I teacher at MHS, and together we have 2 children who both attend MHS. When not teaching, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and traveling. Let's have a great year and GO PANTHERS!!!
