About Me

Hi! My name is Patricia Janikowski, and this is my first year at Morton High School. I am the new English I teacher, and I am excited to be a part of the Scott County School District family!

I am originally from Northeast Mississippi, a town called New Albany. I graduated from Ole Miss with Bachelors Degrees in Accounting and Finance, along with an English minor in 2014. In 2016, I obtained my Master's in Business Administration at Mississippi College, the initial reason that had me move to the Jackson, Mississippi Area. I have worked in the business and finance sector until recently making a career change to pursue education via the Ole Miss Teach Mississippi Institute Alternate Route Program. 

I live in Brandon with my husband Joseph and cat Henry. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy writing, reading, traveling, quilting, cross-stitching, watching college football (Hotty Toddy!) and spending time with family and friends.
